Nestled in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, The Hythe provided the backdrop for this luxury fall wedding. As a Vail wedding florist, I designed every floral element to celebrate the warmth of autumn against the refined mountain elegance that makes this venue unforgettable.
From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony arbor and candlelit reception, each floral installation felt romantic, elevated, and rooted in the natural beauty of Vail.
The Bridal Bouquet
The bridal bouquet became the floral heart of the design, capturing the rich palette and textures found throughout the celebration. Lush terracotta roses, mauve and gold florals, seasonal foliage, and layered textural elements balanced organic movement with sophistication.
Finished with a chiffon ribbon, the bouquet photographed beautifully against the mountain backdrop. It became an extension of the design story itself, one built around color, texture, and the beauty of fall.
Ceremony and Reception at The Hythe
The ceremony arbor sat on the terrace overlooking the Vail mountain landscape. Cascading terracotta blooms, mauve accents, and delicate foliage mirrored the warm tones of the tablescape, and the natural setting made the arbor a focal point without competing with the views.
Inside the ballroom, a dramatic long reception table anchored the evening. Overflowing arrangements of terracotta roses, mauve blooms, deep plum accents, and textured seasonal foliage felt abundant while staying elevated. Blush and mauve taper candles, warm votives, and mauve runners layered in softness, and the tableware complemented the palette instead of overwhelming it.
